WRPM roars into Nashville Super Speedway with the EAR Foundation

Nashville, Tennessee – August 13, 2007 – WRPM, the leading edge in concert and racing promotions,

roared into Nashville Super Speedway this weekend with ARCA Re/Max series driver Bryan Silas,

along with guest drivers Richard Fincher of Mobile, Alabama, and Doug Ehret of Canton, Ohio

to watch Bryan pilot his Andy Hillenberg ARCA Re/Max series car.

The EAR Foundation had a presence on the car and along with that, their spokesperson,

newly crowned Miss Tennessee, was the Grand Marshall for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race.

Miss Tennessee, Grace Gore, not only signed autographs at the EAR Foundation booth

with WRPM’s drivers Doug Ehret and Richard Fincher, but also accompanied WRPM and its staff

down on pit road for a photo op with the #11 Bryan Silas EAR Foundation Chevrolet.

After the photo op, Miss Tennessee posed for photos with fans

and then gave the command to start engines for the Craftsman Truck Series Toyota 200 race.

Once the green flag dropped, Miss Gore accompanied the Witherell family

and their guests in the grand stands, sitting in the second row close to the action to give

Miss Gore a true appreciation for what NASCAR racing is all about.  Miss Tennessee states,

“This was the first race that I have ever attended, and with the assistance of WRPM, it was great.

I have never been that close to race cars going by at over 170 mph, from what they tell me,

and the smell and the roar of the engines, it’s an incredible experience I will never forget”.

WRPM’s president, Jeff Witherell, said, “We at WRPM first of all, are so excited to work

with the EAR Foundationand to have Miss Tennessee accompany us for the day,

along with our staff and driversmade it a very special time in our company’s history.

We look forward to taking Miss Tennessee to other motorsports venues across this great state”.

With the assistance of Michael Storms, executive producer for MRN

(Motor Racing Network, the Voice of NASCAR),

Mr. Witherell escorted Miss Tennessee up to the MRN broadcast booth,

and during the first series of cautions, MRN’s host, Eli Gold,

talked to Miss Gore about all the great things that she has experienced

throughout the day with the EAR Foundation and WRPM.  At the end of her interview,

she thanked Jeff Witherell and his family, WRPM and their staff for showing her the ropes

in and around the Nashville Super Speedway during her visit there. – Thanks Grace, for the plug!
